The AFU archives takes care of many hundreds of kilos of old and used UFO materials every year. Mostly donations and depositions by ufologists, UFO societies and collectors who have given up their interest, or by the heirs of deceased collectors previously active in the UFO- and associated fields.

Everything from books, reference works, magazines & newsletters, clippings, UFO reports, organizational and personal files to microfilms, photos and illustrations, posters, paraphernalia, videos, audio cassette tapes, maps and unpublished manuscripts is taken care of and preserved for posterity.
